URVIO constitutes a space for the diffusion of scientific knowledge in the area of the social sciences, especially in the field of security studies, intelligence, crime, delinquency, and international relations. Its principles are the pluralism, scientific rigor, and respect for the ethics with a perspective of transmitting the academic thinking of Latin America.
