Abstract

Firstly, this study suggests the hypothesis that the argentinian director Albertina Carri’s cinema grows in permanent connection with the critics and national academism, which beginning can be found in the debate around her film Los rubios (2003). Then we will see how the work and visuals quests of Carri can be understood as characterised by reflexivity and a very particular place given to archive: the questioning of official history, the invention of new forms of telling present but also the creation of future archives. The images that dwell the cinema of Carri explore and create overlaid temporalities, coming within the scope of a deleuzian cinematographic time (the image-time).
