The periodic exercise is linked to the interests of the mass media, from the urban centrality, receiving and reproducing the vision from the cities and forgetting the rural periphery. In that context, Community Journalism for the technical instrument that brings the voice to the voiceless.Being this vision is an achievement of a survey of information by means of descriptive techniques, to put in value the particularities of the communities that have been traditionally outside the communicational logic of the means.The site Maconta was explored, in order to make a community journalistic coexistence to identify cultural and ancestral traits of its daily life. This identity is an approximation to the sociocultural reality that the mountain communities live through the qualitative description of the identity features of the population through observations and interviews.As a result, consolidation of specific factors of oral identity was achieved; without neglecting the ancestral tradition, as well as the presence of determinants of development more leisurely than in the urban context, roads and deficits of basic services; Emphasizing that they do not manage to erode the culturo-ancestral roots, the temple, the caste and the yearning for better days.
