In this article it is proposed to take uses of the web linked to the production and teaching of contemporary artistic practices. In relation to production, it is necessary to think of new communication technologies as modes of “democratization” of spaces, visibility and extra-institutional circulation of artistic practices. This type of creations propose other links with the public and can contribute to publicize different social and / or political issues. Regarding education, it is necessary to reflect on the pedagogical use of ICT in the field of art education, as tools and resources to enrich the knowledge construction. Thus, the teacher can use them to improve the efficiency of their action, both in the classroom and in their research work. The web not only offers a great source of resources, but also, it is the platform where you can work with them.
