The importance attributed to entrepreneurship to the economic development of countries has aroused interest in socio-economic policymakers and researchers. From the academic point of view, it is about responding to what factors motivate and influence entrepreneurial activity. Being the intention a key element for understanding the process of creating new companies. For this reason, the objective of this study is to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial education and work experience in the formation of the entrepreneurial intention of university students. An entrepreneurial intention model is proposed based on the theory of planned behavior. The analysis of the model is carried out using systems of structural equations. The results indicate that there is a significant influence of entrepreneurial education on entrepreneurial intention through attitude towards behavior, subjective norm and perceived control. Work experience positively influences perceived business skills and entrepreneurship education.
