PIMENTA, Clayson Cosme Da Costa    CALDERON, José Alberto Goicochea. A review of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Latin America and the Caribbean. Companies and implementation of new policies. []. , 36, pp.1-25.   31-2022. ISSN 2477-9075.

This research is based on the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) paradigm to critically examine its impact on companies, citing and analyzing some outstanding case studies within Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The main objective is to analyze CSR's current state and prospects, exemplifying it with different benchmark companies from Latin American countries. We used a qualitative methodology based on a systematic and critical literature review and three criteria for choosing Latin American companies: size, national and international relevance, and belonging to strategic or relevant sectors for sustainability. The work reaches the following results: the interest of many Latin American companies in CSR responds to a firm and unequivocal commitment; in fact, there are LAC companies that, although they have begun late compared to European companies, are becoming regional and global reference points in the respect and promotion of CSR policies, although it is necessary to continue carrying out studies that analyze in detail different cases that allow checking the evolution of the degree of compliance of CSR.
