Novasinergia is a multidisciplinary journal published digitally with original research results and literature reviews in Science, Engineering, and Technology. Novasinergia receives articles 365 days a year, has a preview mode from the moment they are accepted. The articles are compiled and published in a volume with two issues per year (June and December). The average processing time for manuscripts is two months.

Novasinergia is an open-access journal. Its contents are available in full text, free of charge on its website, with no time embargoes. Its editorial production costs are not transferred to the authors. The article's submission, review, processing, and publication are free of charge for the author.

Novasinergia is inflexible in the face of bad practices by authors or members of the editorial team, in the case of plagiarism, dishonesty, concealment of information, disclosure of confidential information or its inappropriate use for private or third-party benefit, duplication of submissions for publication in other media, fraud, among others. To address these malpractice situations, Novasinergia relies on the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Novasinergia respects the privacy of editors, authors, and manuscript reviewers. If there is suspicion of malpractice in publication or research, we will proceed according to COPE recommendations.

Novasinergia will proceed according to the COPE Code of ethics if a change of author or extension to more authors is necessary once the manuscript refereeing process has been initiated.

Novasinergia's server maintains a Veeam Backup & Replication virtual machine service to ensure daily backup.

Novasinergia's website, based on Open Journal Systems, has the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system that guarantees the journal a permanent and secure archive. Through the LOCKSS Editorial Manifesto Page.

Also, the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system has been enabled to guarantee a permanent and secure archive for the magazine. CLOCKSS is based on LOCKSS. CLOCKSS allows Novasinergia content to be stored and distributed to participating libraries through the CLOCKSS Editorial Manifesto Page.
