 Checklist for shipment preparation
|
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines. -
The author/s certify that this work
has not been published, nor is it being
considered for publication in another journal and/or media, even if translated
into another language. -
The author/s are responsible for article content
and for having contributed to the conception, design and implementation of the work;
data analysis and interpretation;
for having participated in the drafting of the
text and its revisions; and in the approval of the
version that is finally submitted. -
Changes in content, if any,
after revision, and changes
in the style of the manuscript
by the Estoa Editorial Team are accepted. -
The author/s transfer the property rights (copyright) of the present
work to the University of Cuenca (Ecuador), editor of Estoa for all
editions of the journal (printed and electronic). -
The author/s declare themselves
free from any situation that may involve a conflict of interest
in connection with the submitted article, and that they have respected
the ethical principles of research. -
I/We have
read the instructions for authors and are aware that failure to comply with
any of the following 10 points will result
in immediate rejection of the manuscript. -
The article contains no evidence of the
identities or institutional affiliations of its authors,
except where requested. -
The article follows the format of
the template and all the instructions
it contains. -
Bibliographic references were made according to APA Standards Seventh Edition. -
All tables and/or figures are referenced in the text and have been attached
as Supplementary files separately
and in Excel or JPG format
as appropriate. Each has
a title and source. -
I/We have
enclosed the signed Originality and
Copyright Assignment documents
with all the information requested in these documents. |

 Rules for the submission of scientific articles
|
ESTOA accepts original and unpublished articles that are not published or in the process of
being evaluated by another publication.
Articles must be submitted in the format specified in the following Microsoft Word® template which can be downloaded here. Rules on presentation, structure, length, citation forms, document anonymization, and submission process are downloadable here. All authors who submit manuscripts to ESTOA Magazine for evaluation, once approved, must submit the
Letter of Declaration of Authors, as well as the License of
authorization and publication
of originals, signed by each
of the authors. The model of these
documents are downloaded
in: format 1, format 2; and must
be duly completed and signed in the "Complementary Files" section
of the OJS, as well as sent to the electronic
mail of the Journal (estoa.arquitectura@ucuenca.edu.ec). Before submitting the
original via the platform, it is important that authors confirm compliance with the journal's
regulations with a pre-submission check, comparing the work done with the guidelines for authors provided
by the journal. |
