In this paper we compare the Moodle and Chamilo virtual learning environments based on the expe- rience of teachers and students of the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences of the Universidad Nacio- nal Mayor de San Marcos. We also analyze here the use of these environments as a complement to the development of the teaching-learning process in the face-to-face sessions.
