This paper presents a reflection on the intertextuality of the objectual work of art in the light of the appropriation of the wicker basket object in the works of art of Beatriz González. These works not only adopt baskets to assemble an image, but also explore their semiotic potential through poetic links with reference to everyday life. The objective is then to illustrate elements that make up the intertextuality of the objectual work of art with the living conditions through the way in which the basket is located in culture as a configurator of daily life.
