The article estimates the contribution of production factors and total factor productivity (TFP) to the Peruvian Gross Domestic Product in the period 1975-2023 and compares their performance with the development styles implemented. An aggregate production function is used to calculate the capital participation coefficient through time series cointegration and the contribution of productivity is estimated. The development styles implemented influence productivity and output growth; and although TFP has improved over time, there is still room for action to increase this factor.
