Introduction:

In the Ecuadorian Amazon, Indigenous peoples face structural violence exacerbated by state neglect and the expansion of Transnational Organized Crime (TOC). This violence is expressed through territorial dispossession, the denial of rights, and the growing presence of criminal economies such as illegal mining and drug trafficking. Although the Ecuadorian Constitution recognizes collective rights, their implementation has been limited, creating a gap between legal norms and actual practice. In response to this context, nonviolent resistance processes have emerged as strategic responses. Objective: This research analyzes the scope of nonviolent resistance strategies implemented by Alianza Ceibo in response to the structural violence exerted by the State and TOC. From the strategic framework of nonviolence, this analysis explores how these actions aim to transform conflict, protect ancestral territories, and defend collective rights. Methodology: A qualitative methodology was applied, based on semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and a theoretical framework focused on nonviolent resistance. Conclusions: The actions of Alianza Ceibo - Indigenous guards, strategic litigation, and peaceful mobilizations - demonstrate that it is possible to confront oppressive structures without resorting to violence, reshaping power from a community-based perspective.
