Además, en el área agrícola se utilizan varias técnicas estadísticas que conducen a formular interrogantes sobre la combinación de estas. Aunque se han realizado revisiones bibliográficas sobre agromática, poco se evidencia sobre la combinación estadística-TIC desde este punto de vista. Por ello, el objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar las diferentes técnicas estadísticas que se utilizan en estudios sobre cacao con una aproximación agromática. Para el efecto, se definió un protocolo de búsqueda con la finalidad de identificar diferentes técnicas estadísticas y software empleados. Se encontraron tanto técnicas univariantes como multivariantes, las cuales son ejecutadas usualmente con la ayuda de algún software estadístico de propósito general y en algunos casos complementados con aplicaciones de propósitos más específicos. De acuerdo a los hallazgos, y en concordancia con trabajos relacionados, se evidencia la necesidad de continuar potenciando las bondades de las TIC en el área agrícola.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract As in other areas, agriculture has begun to receive the benefits of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), which has led to the need of referring to agromatics. In addition, in the agricultural area several statistical techniques are used that lead to question about the combination of these ones. Although bibliographic reviews have been carried out on agromatics, little evidence is available on the statistical-ICT combination from this point of view. Therefore, the objective of this work was to identify the different statistical techniques used in studies on cocoa with an agromatic approach. For this purpose, a search protocol was defined with the aim of identifying different statistical techniques and software employed. Both univariate and multivariate techniques were found, which are usually executed with the help of some general-purpose statistical software, and in some cases, they are complemented with more specific-purpose applications. According to the findings, and in accordance with related works, the need to continue promoting the benefits of ICT in the agricultural area is evident.]]></p></abstract>
