<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.senescyt.gob.ec/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2477-91052025000100036&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.senescyt.gob.ec/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2477-91052025000100036&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.senescyt.gob.ec/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2477-91052025000100036&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Los residuos orgánicos provenientes de mercados de una mancomunidad de Ecuador, fueron sometidos a cuatro tratamientos biológicos: compostaje (T1): pila de 1050 Kg. de residuos; co-compostaje (T2): pila de 900 Kg. de residuos y 150 Kg. de paja, takakura (T3), pila de 300 Kg. de residuos y 50 Kg. de compost semilla y vermicompostaje (T4): cama de 1m2 con 60 Kg. de residuos precompostados. Los residuos de mercado fueron triturados mecánicamente. Las pilas se colocaron en una nave techada. En los abonos orgánicos obtenidos, se determinó el pH (T1= 9,8; T2= 9,9; T3= 7,84 y T4= 8,01), la conductividad eléctrica en dSm-1 (T1= 4,43; T2= 4,57; T3= 2,19 y T4= 0,56), el porcentaje de materia orgánica (T1= 31,69; T2= 31,45; T3= 26,15 y T4= 25,32), los porcentajes de macronutrientes: nitrógeno (T1= 0,81; T2= 2,33; T3= 1,04 y T4= 2,34), fósforo (T1= 0,80; T2= 1,86; T3= 0,97 y T4= 2,00) y potasio (T1= 0,48; T2= 4,22; T3= 1,38 y T4= 3,76) y el porcentaje del índice de germinación (T1= 64,59; T2= 91,3; T3= 95,57 y T4= 100). Se empleó la herramienta estadística ANOVA y el Test de Tukey-b (P&lt; 0.05). Los resultados indicaron que el vermicompostaje fue el mejor tratamiento.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Organic waste generated in the markets of a community in Ecuador, was subjected to four biological treatments: composting (T1): a pile of 1050 kg of waste; co-composting (T2): a pile of 900 kg of waste and 150 kg of straw; takakura (T3): a pile of 300 kg of waste and 50 kg of seed compost and vermicomposting (T4): 1 m2 bed with 60 kg of pre-composted waste. The market waste was mechanically shredded. The piles were placed in a semi-enclosed. In the organic fertilizers obtained, the pH (T1=9.8; T2= 9.9; T3= 7.84 and T4= 8.01), electrical conductivity in dSm-1 (T1= 4.43; T2= 4.57; T3= 2.19 and T4= 0.56), percentage of organic matter (T1= 31.69; T2= 31.45; T3= 26.15 and T4= 25.32), percentage of macronutrients: nitrogen (T1= 0.81; T2=2.33; T3= 1.04 and T4= 2.34), phosphorus (T1= 0.80; T2= 1.86; T3= 0.97 and T4= 2.00) and potassium (T1= 0.48; T2= 4.22; T3= 1.38 and T4= 3.76) and percentage of germination index (T1= 64.59; T2= 91.3; T3= 95.57 and T4= 100) were determined.
