This research aimed to describe the perceived quality of life in students enrolled in the Dentistry program at the Central University of Ecuador during the second academic period of 2020. A quantitative study was developed with a non-experimental design of descriptive scope, in which 741 university students of legal age and healthy from the investigated context participated. The instrument applied was the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale in its brief version (WHOQOL-BREF). 54.66% of the population were between 18 and 27 years old, 541 (73.01%) were women, and 96.36% were single. A predominance of the normal level was observed in the variables self-perception of quality of life (40.89%) and satisfaction with health (37.38%), while the average level was in the dimensions referring to well-being and quality of life, whose frequencies ranged between 34.28% and 47.37%.
