Cardiovascular diseases have become the leading cause of death worldwide. This research aimed to determine the cardiovascular risk in women aged between 30 and 49, who attend primary care at Ibarra Health Center No. 1 in 2018. A quantitative design of descriptive non-experimental cross-sectional and documentary type was applied. The entire population of 372 female individuals was considered. The risk factors with the highest incidence among participants were total cholesterol (45.3%) and body mass index with 37.6%. Among the population studied, the researchers observed effects on all the risk factors considered in the f cardiovascular risk was analyzed in order to show that most of the population was placed in the categories without risk and low risk. However, among those members with more than one predisposing factor the range of difference between the biological and cardiovascular ages ranged between 11.47 and 43 years of age.
