Aging is an inevitable and progressive process where the elderly people experience sensory alterations that make them susceptible to disability and endocrine diseases such as benign prostatic hypertrophy. Therefore, nursing intervention and implementation of personalized care plans through activities aimed at satisfying needs become indispensable. The research was carried out in order to apply the nursing process in elderly people with impaired urinary elimination and visual impairment. The model of Virginia Henderson, the theory of human care of Jean Watson and the standardized language NANDA, NOC and NIC were applied. The diagnoses identified in the individual were impaired urinary elimination, acute pain and deficient knowledge. An improvement on average of 3 points on the Likert scale was obtained in each indicator of the NOC during the hospital and home follow-up from the execution of the care.
