The action-research approach guided this study, combining the analysis of qualitative and quantitative information for the processing of results, the activities carried out were: i) Diagnosis of the problem; ii) Action plan of the solution; iii) Implementation in the classroom; and iv) Evaluation of results. The results showed improvement in the learning processes of basic operations, compared to the traditional method. It is concluded that the use of ICT tools improves the motivation and learning capacity of students. Future research will lead to the execution of a new learning cycle of the action plan with new basic operations using Math Cilenia.
