Abstract
BARRIOS SOTO, Luis Manuel; MARADEY CORONELL, Juan Antonio and DELGADO GONZALEZ, Mercedes Josefina. Virtual evaluation process of learning in the area of mathematics. RCUISRAEL [online]. 2024, vol.11, n.1, pp.83-98. Epub Apr 10, 2024. ISSN 2631-2786. https://doi.org/10.35290/rcui.v11n1.2023.994.
With the progressive development of virtuality in education, mathematics teachers had to face the challenge of teaching their students through methodologies that involve technological resources and, in this way, evaluate their progress in different knowledge and competencies. The objective of this research was to describe the process of virtual evaluation of learning by mathematics teachers in Colombia. The approach used in the research is qualitative, using a semi-structured interview with the purpose of collecting teachers' experiences. The results show that the evaluation of knowledge is purely formative, that the feedback processes are done to clarify most of the doubts, and that the resources, as well as the strategies used for evaluation, do not guarantee the learning of this school subject.
