This research arose in response to the learning difficulties and social disconnection experienced by elementary school students during the pandemic. Sound composition is proposed as a strategy to improve communicative skills, since it strengthens communication in an effective way. To carry out this research, a descriptive approach was used to analyze the effectiveness of the strategy. Then, the observation technique was applied and a checklist with indicators of security and participation, interaction, expression and security and sociability was used as an instrument. The results obtained revealed that 75% of the students improved significantly in these indicators. From the data collected, it was possible to conclude that more than 50% of the students, by using this strategy, developed a more comfortable environment to express their ideas and favor interpersonal relationships. In addition, it was demonstrated that sound composition became a valuable tool. The insightful integration of sounds into the educational curriculum will enable educators to enhance participation, understanding, etc., helping them to meet the academic and social challenges that have arisen during the health crisis.
