Professional development has become a key part of human resource development in education, leadership and educational management. Therefore, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) implies those activities that develop the skills, knowledge, experience and other characteristics of an individual as a teacher. A bibliographic review was carried out in Web of Science and Scopus, which are the best-recognized high-impact databases worldwide, and the Eric database, which is the largest specialized database in education available online, was added, divided into categories where the constructs were synthesized. most relevant of the DPC. It was concluded that it is vital to ensure that further learning progresses in a structured, practical and relevant way, teachers must actively develop continuous technical teaching, as opposed to theoretical teaching with a minimal practical component, practice needs to be reinforced, ensuring the collective construction of the culture of higher technical and technological educational quality.
