To Bruner it’s indispensable having a personal experience with the information you wish to learn in a significant way, the three kinds of experiences to obtain the knowledge correspond, in a roughly speaking, at the three ways of representation: active, iconic and symbolic. This investigation has as an objective to know if the use of a educational software conducts through every one of the stages of cognitive development proposed by Bruner. The learning strategy proposed by the author through the educational software Wiris, includes the development of representation systems, as means of information treatment and the appropriation of the knowledge of the parable. Through controlled scientific observation, the investigator integrantes himself into the group of study and examines it from the inside and out; applying the observation technique recording the results in a binnacle that contains information with useful details for interpretation and analysis. The research results validate that the use of the educational software Wiris in the learning of the parable leads the student through the three experiences that Bruner's proposed cognitive development allows.
