The research focuses on the programming language used in Code.org for the development of logical mTo retrace the steps of the history of mentalities is not something new. Authors such as Carlos Antonio Aguirre Rojas (1999) and Philippe Ariès (1988) hve done so masterfully. Their texts, through analysis and criticism, reconstruct the global map of what is conceived as the history of mentalities from the time of their founding fathers to their current state; and in general, they constitute theoretical contributions to contemporary historiography. These pages, nourished of these two bibliographical sources, are an effort to review the main characteristics of the global itinerary of the history of menta- lities and its object of study.
