This document presents a research of electrical management systems for controlling appliances and attenuating lighting in smart buildings. For the control of household appliances were used measurement equipment called mPower. For the control of lighting system will be based on a RASPERRY PI data acquisition card which manage and reduce energy consumption. With these data a behavior of energy consumption is modeled, thus being able to minimize the energy using Pareto algorithm for the optimization. Finally, the consumption energy of lights and appliances has been reduced through the algorithm designed.
