The current evaluation of process management is crucial to ensure institutions' competitiveness and efficient organization in the global context. This study aims to highlight the available evidence on implementing process management in public administration entities. The literature review, covering articles published between 2019 and 2022 in databases such as Scielo, Scopus, Google Scholar, and Web of Science, highlights the relevance of process management in local public administration, focusing on the satisfaction of citizen demands.
