Abstract
SOLIS GRANDA, Luis Eduardo and BURGOS VILLAMAR, Ivonne Soraya. Emotional salary in the job satisfaction of SME employees. Bibliographical review. Podium [online]. 2023, n.43, pp.163-176. ISSN 2588-0969. https://doi.org/10.31095/podium.2023.43.10.
Emotional salary is relevant in meeting personal, family, and professional needs, improving quality of life, and promoting work-life balance. Job satisfaction encompasses aspects such as the job itself, remuneration, promotion opportunities, supervision, and colleague relationships. This study aims to validate the existence of literature on the impact of emotional salary on job satisfaction. Scientific information was gathered from the SCOPUS database, and the ToS software was used to process and visualize the data. The results showed that emotional salary and job satisfaction are essential topics in various disciplines. The bibliometric analysis revealed a theoretical connection between both concepts. It is recommended to conduct a qualitative analysis of the definitions of emotional salary and job satisfaction and to delve deeper into future research.
