Abstract

In Ecuador, the Organic Code of the Social Knowledge Economy considers the importance of student participation in the socio-productive sector as training of human talent oriented to the development of skills and abilities of know-how. This article aims to identify the technical and soft skills that influence entrepreneurial aptitude in a Higher Technological Institute students. The type of research is quantitative and non-experimental, applying the survey technique and the design of a questionnaire of 13 closed questions to 325 students. The results showed that the predominant technical skill in students is planning and creating ideas, and the life skill with the highest domain is creativity and innovation.
