Abstract

The general objective of this research was to understand the use of immersive learning as an educational alternative in an emergency. Thus, a qualitative documentary study was carried out with support in the hermeneutic phenomenological method of analysis, using at least 60% of documents that were less than five years old concerning 2022, coming from databases and sources such as Redalyc, Dialnet, and others, web pages, journalistic research, and books, making use mainly of scientific articles. Among the main findings, it was understood that immersive education could be applied in emergency scenarios, be they natural, social, or economic and are relevant for the achievement of meaningful learning, this being an affirmation with which the author of the article agrees. It was concluded that to disseminate immersive learning; it is necessary to invest time, money, and resources for training and willingness to collaborate among educational actors and the State.
