Abstract

The change of modality that suffered education because of the pandemic generated a transition in the educational process. In this case, ICTs play a leading role. Ecuador, for its part, was aware of this problem, so a question arises: how to improve teaching performance? Presenting as objective: to explain the interaction between the application of virtual didactic strategies and teaching performance. The research development has a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive, and correlational approach, with a non-probabilistic sample of 100 teachers that corresponds to the total population. To collect the information was used a questionnaire was created by the authors. The results showed that, despite the changes that education had in this period, virtual didactic strategies stand out as an essential component in teaching performance, mainly so that the virtual modality becomes creative.
