PINARES LLERENA, Emely Astrid; SOTOMAYOR MASALIAS, Sandra  and  LOPEZ MENDOZA, Teresa Narcisa. Community tourism based on Buen Vivir: Case of Misminay, Cusco. Podium [online]. 2021, n.40, pp.163-178.  Epub Dec 19, 2021. ISSN 2588-0969.  https://doi.org/10.31095/podium.2021.40.10.

In community tourism, a vision of development born in the Andean region is applied to protect ethnic groups, their culture and lifestyles in balance with nature, known as Buen Vivir. The purpose of this study is to know the perceptions of those involved in this type of tourism in the Misminay sector (Cusco, Peru), where activities with great growth potential are offered. From the in-depth interview of twelve inhabitants of the sector, it was found that the culture of Misminay ensures harmony between the inhabitants and nature, as well as economic growth. Consequently, it is concluded that those involved practice the principles of Buen Vivir, except that of contextuality.
