Abstract

Public policies align macro objectives to projects and activities specific to their execution; Thus, decisions generated from political-administrative planning have direct effects on the development of the country. In this work, a review of public policies designed for the cocoa sector was carried out from the macro, meso and micro contexts, during the initial period of implementation of the new administrative paradigm of the State with the focus of the change of production matrix, for which The respective bibliographic review of registers and pages of public entities, laws and policies of the cocoa sector, databases and statistics of the Central Bank of Ecuador was carried out, concluding that, especially regarding fiscal matters, public policies have generated positive results. , generating favorable socioeconomic indices in the country.
