POSLIGUA QUINDE, Isabel y RAMIREZ RODRIGUEZ, Marlon. Hypertext on digital radio. An analysis of information processing in the Santa Elena canton, Ecuador. Ñawi [online]. 2025, vol.9, n.1, pp.139-149. ISSN 2588-0934. https://doi.org/10.37785/nw.v9n1.a8.
The present investigation examines the use of hypertext in digital radio media and its influence on the presentation, accessibility, and quality of information. The objective was to evaluate how hypertext and information strategies impact the quality of content offered by local media. Using a mixed-method approach and a non-experimental descriptive design, data were collected through surveys, expert interviews, and content analysis of Radio Salinas 103.3 FM and Genial 106.9 FM, with a sample of 200 people. The results indicate that both media use hypertext in informational and entertainment topics, mainly in video and image formats, which improves the clarity and precision of information, though with limited sources. The study concludes that hypertext enhances the user experience by allowing greater interactivity and continuous content updating.
