This paper analyses the film co-productions carried out by the Bó-Sarli duo in terms of genre and transnational, taking into account the circulation of films in an expanding market. The main hypothesis postulates that through the figure of Sarli, different characters of Latin American women are incarnated, nationalized from some key film genres for the development of the national cinemas in question. In a practiced approach it combines notions from gender studies, transnational film studies and queer theories.
