Resumen
ABUNDIS, Ángel R.. And yet it moves: Approach to the Concept of Moving Graffiti Taking the Freight Graffiti in the City of Guadalajara as Starting Point. Ñawi [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.2, pp.193-212. ISSN 2588-0934. https://doi.org/10.37785/nw.v6n2.a11.
This article aims to describe and analyze the aspects of movement in graffiti in the contemporary New York tradition. This analysis is the result of an approach to the phenomenon of Transit graffiti in freight trains, a world shared by Jupiter, from the Planetas Extraños (PX) crew, a veteran train driver from Guadalajara. Qualitative research methods such as interviews, guided observation and digitalization of magazines and specialized fanzines, are used to find enough material to support the argument that transit graffiti is a foundational and current expression. Furthermore, the concept of transit graffiti contributes to a relevant discussion about two processes: the construction of collective identities and the production of urban symbolism.
