Since the arrival of cinema in Colombia, the road has not been easy. The first filmmakers found themselves in complex economic situations that on numerous occasions even put at risk the continuity of film activity in this country. A whole network of financial, fiscal and propaganda aid by the Colombian State, as well as an extensive legislative body, in addition to the tenacity of directors, producers and filmmakers in Colombia, will turn this activity into a industry that we can consider as a true industry today.
