This article is about the problematic of the political use of the Country Brand "Ecuador loves life" as a backdrop of the governmental communication of the Ecuadorian president Rafael Correa. In this sense, it is investigated in the visual political discourse of the same from a sociosemiotic perspective and with focus on enunciation as a process of sense creation. This in the light of a communicative practice that opens the debate regarding the permanence and particular use of the brand in question by the hand of the new rulers to power. An analysis is then established of three of the still images that circulated on Correa's official Facebook platform. The same selected for their direct reference and reiteration with two of the forms of communication of the exleader: the Citizen Link and the public works built during his Government.
