Abstract

LOPEZ-GUTIERREZ, Juan Carlos  and  ONES, Isarelis Pérez. UNIVERSITY TEACHING AND DIDACTIC TRANSPOSITION. A STUDY OF PERCEPTION. Revista Chakiñan [online]. 2022, n.16, pp.24-34. ISSN 2550-6722.  https://doi.org/10.37135/chk.002.16.01.

By exploring the praxis of university professors, it is possible to understand the extent to which they adopt strategies aimed at the integral development of university students; this concerns the relationship between disciplinary knowledge and the knowledge taught. In this sense, didactic transposition is an approach allowing us to understand the movement between knowledges. The aim of this study was to determine the students' perception of the incidence of didactic transposition in university pedagogical praxis. The methodology used was the focus group, and the selection of participants was based on their experience in the subject and their homogeneity. Three focus groups were conducted with students of Educational Psychology and Vocational Guidance in the fifth cycle of the Faculty of Education, Science, and Technology, with a total of twenty participants; 35 % of whom were women. The results identified an incidence of didactic transposition in the categories of didactic strategy, knowledge, evaluation, communication, motivation, objective and didactic model.
