This research is part of a community development case study whose objective is to understand some aspects of social management from the perspective in the culture community production system of the Salinas Parish, in the Province of Bolívar. The study considered social and historical elements and the geographical location of the Andean cultural environment to understand the characteristics of the productive system developed by the community, its relationships, distribution system, the generation of its brand and the leadership aspects related to this form of community production. Which have improved the living conditions of the community and have become a national reference. The research methodology includes documentary analysis, content analysis, and focused ethnography. The research analyzes the historical-cultural evolution of forms of community organization based on participatory management, which is understood as a substantial component of social management, which could have application and impact on the generation of similar initiatives in the country.
