In the present article, it is planned to reform the perception of the Andean cosmovision and interculturality in relation to sustainable development from sumak kawsay, how it intervenes in its vision towards the world and in its correlation with all the factors of nature, involving the human being. This conception manifests a social evolution in persevering reconstruction and renewal, predominating the egalitarian, mutual representation and the firm relationship of human beings among themselves, and with the natural environment, there is no division because the human being has been categorized as a part of the living ecosystem The methodology that led to the writing of this manuscript was the qualitative research, which was carried out through the analysis of different researches conceived. The objective of this article is to analyze the Andean cosmovision and interculturality as a source and alternative to promote sustainable development from sumak kawsay in the current Ecuadorian context. The progress within the Andean cosmovision is not correlated to the material heritage as in the current globalized system, there is no stage of underdevelopment that corresponds to present, but rather to recover the values ​​of collectivity, both in the classroom and in the classroom like in society, in such a way disagreeing closely with the neoliberal ideology currently in force.
