In the late eighteenth century the intellectual movement of Illustration, through the practice of culture-politics, empowers the beginning of a modernization process. The ideological conceptions assumed by intellectuals are analyzed in this article, to create their own ethos in the different interrelated scenarios; differentiating attitudes and behaviors adopted and dispersed by center-periphery logic, which enables the meaning assimilation based on individual and national rights leading to the definition of major concepts that configure the citizen, without allowing to identify certain autonomy and separatists ideologies in the new historical stage rising.
