At the present time the conservation and restoration of the goods cultural materials has a capital importance for the development of the space in which you/they are located. In this sense, the goods cultural materials are present in diverse spaces and the university students don't escape to it. In these institutions of learnings, investigations and extensions the material goods are fundamentally subject to the academic thing or the decencies. However, in occasions the goods cultural university materials are not of the knowledge of the whole university community, it is for it that is necessary of their setting in value so that the same one is recognized and safeguarded. This way, the purpose of the present investigation is centered in basing the importance of the goods cultural university materials by means of its setting in value. For they were it essential the theoretical methods as the historical one logical, the analysis-synthesis, the induction-deduction and the documental analysis. Rules were determined for the setting in value of the goods cultural university materials associated to steps, categories and dimensions that promote the administration participative of the community’s university students for their patrimony. Essential elements of their identities and that managed, negotiated and interpreted appropriately they generate development to the institution’s university student in well of to preserve the legacy that you/they possess and to diversify them toward the new generations.
