Abstract

MENDEZ BRAVO, Julio César; MENDEZ BRAVO, Manuel Alberto  and  BOLANOS PIEDRAHITA, Claudia Jeaneth. Social enterprises and their effect on economic reactivation in times of pandemic. ReHuSo [online]. 2022, vol.7, n.3, pp.31-45.  Epub Dec 05, 2022. ISSN 2550-6587.  https://doi.org/10.33936/rehuso.v7i3.5149.

One of the problems generated by the COVID 19 pandemic is the economic contraction that has affected different nations, which have seen in the enterprises a way out of the crisis, however, it is not known what type of enterprise will have the impact and more efficient reach in an economic reactivation. This research carries out a more specific analysis, focusing on the impact of social enterprises as a means of economic reactivation in response to the negative impact COVID 19 has had on economies. The objective of the research is to analyze the existing and updated literature that allows us to understand the relevance of social enterprises in economic development and drivers of agro-industrial and quality of life in rural areas with the development of inclusive businesses. The methodology used was the literary review where scientific articles in different languages of journals published in a high-impact database with an antiquity of no more than five years were analyzed, in which an analysis of the indexing of the articles is made. Scientists consulted to ensure the quality of the information used for the development of this work. Among the relevant results, it is highlighted that the sustainability of social enterprises can be achieved through the development of public policies. Finally, it was possible to conclude that social enterprises such as inclusive businesses are positioned as a viable response to the post-COVID 19 economic reactivation.
