Psychomotricity has a perpendicular impact on the development of children, so it is an essential aspect for education. The objective of the study was to determine the influence of the Psychomotor Intervention Program (PIP) on children with special needs in educational institutions of initial level of the city of Puno. Regarding the methodology, a pre and post test design was implemented, with an intervention program with 16 participants of different levels and special needs. The instrument used was the Psychomotor Development Test (TEPSI) to measure psychomotricity in children under three categories: coordination, language and motor skills. The results reveal that after the implementation of the program, there are improvements in the psychomotor evolution of children. It is concluded that the PIP has a significant impact on children with special needs and improves adaptation to the environment, because the average of the pre-test was 30.88 points and the average of the post-test was 33.22 and 2.34 points of difference.
