Creative techniques for evaluating the teaching and learning process have been diversified over time. In the area of the baccalaureate these techniques try to capture the attention of students, combining academic foundations with innovative criteria. It is assumed that evaluation is never a simple task. The purpose of this research work is to analyze the creative techniques that teachers apply for the evaluation of learning in students of Baccalaureate of the Educational Unit "Twenty-three of October", based in Montecristi, Manabí province. To this end, it is proposed to address this problem using a qualitative, descriptive and bibliographic-documentary methodological approach, while as a technique the survey was applied to both teachers and students to gather their criteria. The result of this work has yielded relevant and relevant data such as the fact that most students consider that teachers never apply creative techniques during class hours, while teachers refuted this criterion and pointed out the opposite. In addition, both teachers and students agree that formal assessment techniques such as systematic observation, tests, among others, are used. It is concluded that the inclusion of creative learning assessment techniques motivates students and improves the educational process.
