Abstract Education has undergone processes of change through time and these changes are also associated with significant advances in Science and Technology. Specifically at the beginning of the XXI century, led by the emergence of a cluster of particularly digital technological tools, calling this society the knowledge society. Promoting the prelude to the inclusion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as a new resource at all levels of education, the objective of this research is to carry out a critical literary analysis on the access of technologies specifically at the level of education. initial education. The new role of teachers and constant training in the use and management of new technologies allows the development of new techniques and learning strategies that will contribute positively to the teaching-learning process. Currently the whole world faces a pandemic produced by COVID19, which has forced humanity to have confinement, therefore the use of ICT is essential to be able to apply gamification in the educational area. It is important to emphasize that access to technology in education is subject to State or Government policies and it is clear to say that in some Latin American countries very little has been done, since education has always been affected because they invest heavily. few resources.
