CEDENO ZAMBRANO, Efrén  y  CALLE GARCIA, Robertson. Impact of individual and collective games on students' skills and abilities. ReHuSo [online]. 2020, vol.5, n.2, pp.77-93.  Epub 02-Ago-2020. ISSN 2550-6587.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6812330.

Abstract Play activities are a powerful ally for teachers in the training field. Games, in particular, contribute significantly to the development of both physical and cognitive students' skills and abilities by energizing the teaching and learning process. In this context, the following research aims to identify and analyse the impact of games, both individual and collective, on the development of students' abilities. The study focused on the upper basic section of the Pedro Zambrano Barcia Educational Unit in Portoviejo. In addition, the aim is to identify the teaching strategies employed by teachers that motivate the teaching process in the classroom, as well as the procedures and types of games that are most relevant for students at these levels of study. For this reason, a mixed methodological approach, both qualitative and quantitative, will be carried out, and an empirical work will be prepared to realize the objectives set. Research is intended to contribute to the construction of new knowledge that uses the innovation and playfulness of certain topics proposed in classes.
