Teaching a new language is always a challenge for teachers. Particularly, the English required in educational institutions presents a series of regulations that require special attention by specialized teachers to motivate students in their learning process. Within this framework, pedagogy offers a series of strategies that can be applied in a practical way that allow students to be encouraged to feel seduced by this discipline. Some of these strategies are those addressed in this research work, especially music. These strategies, which are very useful, foster essential English skills such as speaking and listening; The objective of this work was to identify the influence of music in English language learning. This research is exploratory, a survey was applied to the students of the Sara Belén Guerrero Vargas Educational Unit of Bahía de Caráquez, Manabí, Ecuador. The study shows that teachers make use of music in their classes and contribute to the learning of the English language especially in the skills for Listening and Speaking.
