IBARRA QUIMI, Tatiana  and  CEVALLOS, Ángela. Methodological procedures based on the interpretation of narrative texts: the critical analysis of literary works. ReHuSo [online]. 2019, vol.4, n.3, pp.84-94.  Epub Dec 18, 2019. ISSN 2550-6587.  https://doi.org/10.33936/rehuso.v4i3.2270.

The interpretation of narrative texts is one of the main foundations for understanding reality. From an early age, the teaching of stories, legends, poems or novels marks much of the learning process. Various literary works arouse in the human being the curiosity for the knowledge of different worlds and generate the creative capacity. The reading of fictional literary works motivates a new didactic process and, on many occasions, they are the reason why students do not lose interest in attending the classroom. While new technologies lead to new learning environments, the teacher should not neglect traditional procedures such as group reading workshops, just to give an example. Based on the critical analysis of literary works and comprehensive reading, this article delves into the innovative ways in which teachers of the Educational Unit Genesis Anchundia Andrade from the site El Zapote of the canton Portoviejo (Ecuador) They build knowledge and develop their reflexive capacity. The guidelines that teachers point out are also one of the components to be studied in this work. In this sense, the purpose of this document is to establish and analyse methodological procedures that may arise from the interpretation of narrative texts. It is clear from the above that literature promotes learning and likewise prepares students to become more competent in today’s society.
