The logic with mathematics has been teaching that throughout history has had evolution and has contributed to the academy. This paper presents an intervention proposal for the improvement of mathematical reasoning in students, mediating participatory and active methodologies, based on second-year students of basic education. The development of this is in a review of documentary analysis, methodology that has been used, and the way that they have improved in adolescents, the teaching of mathematics in institutions of secondary education and imprecise practices of teachers is shown in the results of the evaluations that are executed daily. A curricular justification for the implementation of the proposal in the subject of Mathematics and the results that it has thrown since a small sample was put into practice. Through the application of a part of the intervention and analysis of evaluation activities, positive results were obtained. To conclude the new global dynamics and technologies are essential components in our environment.
