Resumen

TORRES TERAN, Olga Viviana  y  CALLE GARCIA, Robertson. Argumentative and ethical foundations in academic writing from the perspective of postgraduate training. ReHuSo [online]. 2019, vol.4, n.2, pp.66-78.  Epub 30-Ago-2019. ISSN 2550-6587.  https://doi.org/10.33936/rehuso.v4i2.2133.

The production of written texts is one of the fundamental tasks in academic institutions. It serves to generate knowledge, to integrate new academic members into the respective discursive communities and to better understand the topics on which they work. Due to the clarifying and organizing effect of writing, it is desirable that the writing be part of the research process. This paper addresses the philosophical and ethical foundations in a practical and simple way and the drafting processes prior to its publication. Academic writing has particularities that are not found in other types of discourses. This text is, in any case, a rhetorical apparatus that is elaborated on the basis of certain discursive procedures and strategies, having as axis the perspective of academic training for scientific production. In this context, analysing the foundations on which a group of teachers have been based is essential to determine the ways in which the writing of an article is constituted as an academic dissemination text that seeks to persuade the reader about the legitimacy of a contribution to the scientific discipline in which it is inserted.
